Freeze Top Row in Excel

Freezing the First Row

To keep the title row visible in Excel when scrolling, use the Freeze Panes feature. Select the View tab, click on Freeze Panes, and choose 'Freeze Top Row'.

Freezing Multiple Rows

To freeze more than one row, select the row below the last one you want to freeze. Then go to the View tab, click Freeze Panes, and select 'Freeze Panes'.

Freezing Columns and Rows

If you need to freeze both columns and rows, select the cell to the right of the column and below the row you want to freeze. Use the Freeze Panes option under the View tab.

Unfreezing Panes

To unfreeze rows or columns, navigate to the View tab, click on Freeze Panes, and select 'Unfreeze Panes'.
