How to Make Excel Full Screen

Using the View Tab

To activate full screen mode in Excel, navigate to the View tab located on the Ribbon. In Excel 2007 and 2010, you can find the Full Screen command directly on this tab. Clicking this will switch Excel to full screen mode.

Customizing the Ribbon

If the Full Screen command is not visible, you can add it to the Ribbon manually. Access Excel Options and choose Customize Ribbon. Select All Commands from the dropdown, find Full Screen, and add it to a New Tab. Rename the tab and group as needed, click Add, then OK to confirm.

Using VBA for Full Screen

To maximize the Excel window, you can use activities within the program. The Maximize Window activity can be utilized, though it is not always 100% reliable. Alternatively, the Excel Application Scope activity provides options to manage the window size.

Another method involves using the attach window activity within Excel's developer tools. Set the property to maximize, which adjusts the Excel window to fill the entire screen.

Note that Excel 2013 does not support the traditional full screen mode, but you can mimic the functionality through the methods described above.
